Governor Abbott Announces Phase Two To Open Texas

Governor Order May 18 2020

Governor Abbott issued an Executive Order that is effective immediately and continuing through June 3, 2020. The Order includes guidance for restaurants, bars, massage centers, bingo halls, zoos, camps, sporting events and schools.

Galveston County and UTMB to Open Mass COVID-19 Testing

Galveston County has partnered with UTMB to offer free COVID-19 testing from three locations across the county. Appointments are required but the service is free to Galveston County residents.

Please don’t be hungry, La Marque. City officials are partnering with local organizations to increase the availability of food resources and Texas City ISD is still providing breakfast and lunch for all TCISD students.

Practice Social Distancing at La Marque Parks

If you decide to enjoy one of our city parks, practice social distancing and follow CDC guidelines. Wear masks if you have them. Keep groups as small as possible, but no larger than 10. Sanitize and take extra care not to leave trash. Be safe, La Marque.
