Park Board Regular Meeting - November 15, 2012
LA MARQUE PARKS BOARD
Notice is hereby given that the La Marque Parks Board will hold a Regular Meeting on
Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 1109 B Bayou Road, La Marque, Texas 77568 for the purpose of considering the following agenda:
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
2. ROLL CALL
3. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
Comments from the Public (At this time, any person with city-related business who has signed up may speak to Parks Board (limited to three (3) minutes). In compliance with Texas Open Meeting Act the Parks Board may not deliberate on comments. Personal attacks will not be allowed, and personnel matters should be addressed to the City Manager during normal business hours
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a. Regular Meeting, October 18, 2012
5. OLD BUSINESS
a. Discussion/possible action - approving Parks Board Monthly Financial Report
b. Discussion/possible action- repairs to equipment in all parks
c. Update - Bayou Fest
6. NEW BUSINESS
a. Discussion/possible action -authorizing the installation of energy efficient lighting for restrooms at Highland Bayou Park not to exceed $500.00
b. Discussion/possible action- authorizing the installation of two poles and electrical stations at Highland Bayou Park
c. Discussion/possible action- authorizing the reimbursement for purchase of medals for Bayou Fest basketball competition
d. Discussion/possible action- agreement for use of Mahan Park football field; possible recommendation to City Council
e. Discussion/possible action - request for use of Little League Baseball fields at Highland Bayou Park; possible recommendation to City Council
7. REQUESTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
a. Requests by Park Board Members for items to be placed on future agendas and announcements on city events/community interests
8. ADJOURNMENT
