Important Numbers
Unfortunately, when disaster strikes, it disrupts services that we all rely on. Services such as telephone, electricity, and natural gas. If and when these services are lost as a result of a disaster, please do not call 9-1-1, the Police Department, or the Fire Department. Unless there is a life threatening emergency, the Police and Fire Departments are going to refer you to the appropriate entities for assistance. By calling 9-1-1, you are merely tying up the line which should only be used for true emergencies.
