Crime Stoppers is a community program designed to get citizens involved in getting crimes solved. It does this by asking you, the concerned citizen, to supply information that may assist in solving these crimes and offering cash rewards of up to $5,000 for information.
Monthly luncheons are on hold due to COVID-19.
When meetings are in session, they are held the second Wednesday of each month at First United Methodist Church of La Marque, 1825 Howell. Lunch is from 11:45 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A $7 donation to cover your meal is appreciated.
Anonymity is guaranteed to citizens who furnish information leading to the arrest of a criminal offender. Reward money is also paid for information leading to the recovery of stolen property and / or narcotics (drugs).
When a call is received by Crime Stoppers, it is logged with the date, time and a brief summary of the caller’s information. A case number is assigned and used by the caller when contacting Crime Stoppers. Callers are not asked to reveal their names, and all information given to Crime Stoppers is kept strictly confidential. Any information given will be verified for accuracy.
