Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of La Marque, Texas will conduct a Regular Meeting on May 8, 2023, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at 1109-B Bayou Road La Marque, Texas as well as via videoconference hosted through Zoom ( https://zoom.us/j/92493940502 ). In accordance with Section 551.127(b) of the Texas Local Government Code the presiding officer and a quorum of the La Marque City Council intend to be and will be physically present at 1109-B Bayou Road, La Marque, Texas. This location will be open to the public and the meeting will be broadcast at this location, on Channel 16, and via YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6G8ypjyEDo).
The Council will meet for the purpose of considering the following agenda:

Amending the City's zoning map and comprehensive plan by changing the zoning regulations of real property commonly known as 5401 FM 1765 La Marque, TX 77568

Amending the fiscal year 2021-22 Budget for various funds’ expenditures by decreasing various funds’ fund balances, increasing certain expenditures to individual budget accounts in various funds, and increasing certain revenues in various funds as set forth in Exhibit A.
Unless otherwise specified, the City Manager is authorized to execute all necessary documents upon final approval by the City Attorney.
Finding that Centerpoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC's application or approval to amend its distribution cost recovery factor to increase distribution rates within the city should be denied
Finding that Texas-New Mexico Power Company's application for approval to amend its distribution cost recovery factor to increase distribution rates within the city should be denied
Supporting the City of La Marque's application to the Texas Department of Transporation's 2023 Transporation Alternatives Set-Aside (TA) call for projects
Authorizing the release of a restrictive covenant; making various findings; and providing an effective date
Approving a Preliminary Plat for Trails at Woodhaven Lakes Section 2
Authorizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Galveston County Health District (GCHD) for Naloxone Supply
Issuing a Purchase Order to Zone Industries (Precision Pump Systems) to provide and install new Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Line Reactors, and Surge Suppression at the 1764 Pump Station Facility in the amount of $75,540.32
Awarding of Westlawn Flood Control and Drainage project Bid to AR Turnkey Construction
