LOCATION: The Back Porch and Events Center, 1219 Walnut St, La Marque, TX 77568

Vicky Boone Casting is looking for local citizens of La Marque, and the surrounding areas, to play lead and supporting roles in an upcoming major feature film. Previous acting experience is not required, and those cast will be compensated on the scale of professional actors.  The film shoots Summer 2018 in Texas.

The project has received top-level support from the Sundance Film Institute and will premiere at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival.

We are looking for spirited, fun-loving people of all ages and ethnicities, who have a wide variety of experiences and backgrounds, to play lead and supporting roles in the film. People who are dare-devils and love risky adventure are strongly encouraged to attend.   We would also like to meet people who have experience with the Texas prison system.

For story purposes, we are especially looking for:

·  Adults, 30-45,
who may have experience in areas including (but not limited to): military service, rodeos, nightclub gigs, oil field/offshore work, motosports, skateboarding, truck driving, aircraft pilots, hip hop artists or touring musicians. We’d love to meet people who are risk-takers and great storytellers!

·  Guys, 14-16, who are daring, adventurous, confident, and aren't afraid to break the rules. Their interests might include rodeos, skateboarding, graffiti, hip-hop, motocross, hunting, ATVs or any type of creative or athletic expression.

·  Girls, 13-14, who are strong-spirited, independent, and sometimes impulsive! Their interests might include sports, rodeos, dance team, roller skating, music or animals.

·  Female Children, age 5-7, extroverted, curious, spunky, energetic, playful, confident.

The casting call will consist of a short talk with a member of the casting team and possibly an interview on camera.  No appointment is necessary and there is nothing to prepare!

While details of the project and its filmmakers are being kept confidential during the casting process, Michelle Satter, the Director of the Sundance Institute, has said, “We have been honored to support the filmmaking team behind this project through our Screenwriters, Directors, and Creative Producing Labs.  We believe deeply in the team's integrity to make a film of quality and will continue to support their efforts as they bring the film to life.”
