The Texas General Land Office (GLO) will begin accepting applications for the Hurricane Harvey Housing Assistance Program on Monday, December 3, 2018. This program is designed to help homeowners affected by Hurricane Harvey repair and rebuild their homes. Applicants will be considered for award on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information you can contact the GLO at 1-844-893-8937 or visit their office location at 600 Gulf Freeway, Suite 130, Texas City 77568 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Information is available at www.recovery.texas.gov.
Additionally, the Galveston County Long Term Recovery Group will be providing assistance to individuals wishing to apply for the Hurricane Harvey Housing Assistance Program. They will be operating a location in conjunction with Mainland Community Partnership at 2000 Texas Avenue, Suite 601, Texas City 77590. Call 409-643-8240, email dcm@gcltrg.org or visit www.galvestoncountyrecovers.org for information. Case managers will be available to help any homeowners wishing to apply for the program.
