Tropical Storm Barry is expected to hit Louisiana this weekend. We will monitor the forecast and relay any significant changes.
Tropical Storm Barry was moving WNW near 5 miles per hour at 7:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019. A track towards the NW is expected to begin later today, followed by a turn to the N on Saturday. The center of Barry will be near or over the central or SE coast of Louisiana tonight or Saturday.
Most of the impacts associated with TS Barry will remain east of SE Texas. Showers and thunderstorms will still be possible over the upper Texas coast and mostly east of I-45 this weekend. Offshore flow will also strengthen to potentially Small Craft criteria, and mariners remain alert.
