Notice is hereby given that applications for a place on the CITY OF LA MARQUE General Election Ballot will be accepted during the following dates and times:
COUNCIL DISTRICT “B” and COUNCIL DISTRICT “D” TERMS ARE UP FOR ELECTION will be on the May 2, 2020, ballot.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS INCLUDE: be a qualified voter in the territory in which he/she is seeking election; hold no other Public Office: be a resident of the City of La Marque for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the election; be at least (18) eighteen years of age on the date of appointment to his or her seat.
