[ARCHIVED] COVID TESTING CANCELED at Queen of Peace Church July 21. Registration Required.


Due to inclement weather, testing is canceled today. If you need COVID testing now, it is available through Galveston County Health District.

Update 8:30 a.m. 7/21/2020

Due to inclement weather the COVID testing scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2020, is canceled. Rainy conditions can contaminate samples in the drive-thru format. The testing event will be rescheduled. 

If you need COVID testing now, it is available through Galveston County Health District.

Residents are encouraged to contact their primary care physician for COVID-19 testing if they have come in contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive or are experiencing symptoms including cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or at least two of the following symptoms: fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and new loss of taste or smell. 

Those who are uninsured may be tested through Coastal Health & Wellness after being financially screened. For more information, please call 409.938.7221. For additional testing options in Galveston County, please visit

Galveston County is partnering with UTMB to offer free COVID-19 and antibody testing for Galveston County residents. Testing is available by appointment only and free to the public at three different sites in Galveston, League City and Texas City. County residents may schedule an appointment by calling 832.632.6731. A government-issued form of identification will be required at the time of testing to verify residency.

The City of La Marque has partnered with the State of Texas to offer another FREE COVID-19 TESTING opportunity within our city limits. 

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

To register, call or log on 24 hours before the event. Testing is a drive-thru format from the church parking lot. State ID required. No residency requirements - all are welcome.
