KLMBC is hosting their annual Spring Clean-up Day for residents.
Saturday, April 23rd, is Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission annual Spring Clean-up event!
We absolutely love hosting this event for the community!
Get those garages, houses, and sheds cleared out and bring it to us!
We will have dumpsters as usual for bulk trash and debris.
The Shred Truck will be back again as well, woohoo!
And we will have the TIRE TRAILER for anyone who has tires to dispose of.
Please make sure not to bring any hazardous materials (spray paint cans, gas cans, propane tanks, refrigerators, ac units, etc). Bulk drop-off is for La Marque residents and not for contractors who need a place to drop off construction debris. Make sure to have your ID or water bill with proof of residency.
In regards to the shred truck, if you have materials to shred, please make sure they do not have any plastic or metal in them. That includes binders, plastic binding, metal coils, binder clips, paper clips, etc. These can and do cause the truck to jam and lead to long wait times (which was the case at Fall Sweep).
We will have the truck separated from the dumpsters again in the adjacent parking lot. If you would like to watch your items being shredded you can, if you would like to just drop your items off to avoid a line we will have a commission member out to assist in those situations to help the line run as smoothly as possible. There were a couple of bumps last time, but as with everything new comes a learning curve!
