There will be no risk to the public. The plan is to arrive on Saturday 3/18/17 and start testing on Monday 3/20/17. The aircraft will be flying in the local airspace around Houston, La Marque, and Texas City. It will not be landing in the local area, except at Ellington Airfield. The aircraft will be flying approximately 700 - 1000 feet above ground. The team will be finished testing by Friday 3/24/17. They may fly around twilight but won't be flying at night.
