La Marque's new Fire Station is City’s first-ever capital project developed, accepted, funded, and soon to be constructed for a public safety entity.
The La Marque Fire Department and City of La Marque were proud to host a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday, April 12, 2017, for the new fire station, which will be La Marque's first-ever capital project developed, accepted, funded, and soon to be constructed for a public safety entity. The project includes two buildings, the Central Fire Station at 1000 Salt Grass Point Boulevard and the Administration Building at 5201 Texas Avenue.
“This is a milestone for the City of La Marque," said La Marque Fire Chief Gerald Grimm. "These facilities will have incomprehensible positive impact on the delivery of quality public service across La Marque, directly affecting the preservation of life and property in our community.”
