There are now 763 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Galveston County. La Marque had two (2) additional confirmed cases reported, raising our total number to 47. We still have free face masks available at City Hall for our La Marque residents.

La Marque Public Library now offering curbside pickup Monday through Friday

Library Curbside

Please note, La Marque Library remains closed to the public. Our staff is available to answer questions by phone Monday through Friday at 409-938-9270. Free Wifi is available and accessible 24 hours a day from our parking lot.

On Tuesday, May 26, 2020, La Marque Public Library began offering curbside pick up of library materials from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The address is 1011 Bayou Rd, La Marque, Texas 77568. Please call 409-938-9270 for information.&...

Governor Abbott Announces Phase Two To Open Texas

Governor Order May 18 2020

Governor Abbott issued an Executive Order that is effective immediately and continuing through June 3, 2020. The Order includes guidance for restaurants, bars, massage centers, bingo halls, zoos, camps, sporting events and schools.

Galveston County and UTMB to Open Mass COVID-19 Testing

Galveston County has partnered with UTMB to offer free COVID-19 testing from three locations across the county. Appointments are required but the service is free to Galveston County residents.

La Marque Municipal Court Expanded Services to Include Virtual Court Dates

No one should go hungry, and the City of La Marque is here to help.

Please don’t be hungry, La Marque. City officials are partnering with local organizations to increase the availability of food resources and Texas City ISD is still providing breakfast and lunch for all TCISD students.
